Don’t Compromise Your Business Image

I am covering marketing and social media in length through the marketing series, but here are a few quick tips to build your social media presence:

1. Decide Which Platforms to be on

Depending on your vertical, different platforms might be relevant. Make sure you find out which one you should be on and build your presence.

2. Make social media professional

Before you started your own business, fewer people may have looked into your personal presence online. Now that you run a professional services startup, make sure your online presence is professional and the social media accounts you’re building are approached with the necessary seriousness.

3. Add Value

While social media is a world of give-and-take, as a business, you should always err on the side of giving. Your content should go beyond sharing pictures to adding substantial content around your industry.
